Resident Instructor for Mambo 4 Every 1 Productions
Ronnie Raúl Puerto Rican origen, has trained with
the NATIONAL BALLET OF MEXICO. He performed in the musicals
Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar in Mexico. He also trained
in mime and acting at the NATIONAL INSTITUT OF BELLAS ARTES
of MEXICO and appeared in his own mime show on Mexican TV.
In 1991 he travelled to Buenos Aires - Argentina, where
he trained in various disciplines of modern dance at the
TEATRO SAN MARTIN of BUENOS AIRES, Classical Ballet at the
TEATRO COLON of BUENOS AIRES and Jazz with Noemi Cohello
and Solan, ex prima ballerina of Alvin Ailey American Dance
Company. In 1993 he travelled to Europe where he created
his own company which toured throughout Portugal, Spain
and Italy.
His performances have been shown on Television in Europe
including Channel 4 and Telespacio in Italy, T.V.E. and
Antena 3 in Spain and Channel Catholic 4 in Lisbon, Portugal.
He also choreographed a fashion show for Revlon which toured
for a year throughout Spain. In 1996 he was on tour with
the Brazilian Dance Company 'Brazil Tropical' around Europe.
In London he founded "The Mambo Blast Dance Company".
Latino Ronnie Raul is a popular Salsa-Mambo Instructor,
Performer and Choreographer. He has been dancing Salsa since
he could walk. Ronnie has performed in Peru, Argentina,
Italy, Mexico, Guatemala and Chile as a ballet dancer. As
a choreographer he created his own dance companies in Spain,
Italy and London. His work has also included bringing well
known Salsa-Mambo teachers from the U.S.A. to the UK as
guest performers and teachers at events and workshops in
London
Ronnie is an accomplished dancer and teacher with a background
in Classical Ballet, Modern Dance, and Jazz. His excellent
reputation as a Salsa-Mambo teacher has attracted students
from other schools who were keen to experience his unique
teaching style.
He offers a fun and challenging Salsa-Mambo class. His open
floor shine routines push students both mentally and physically,
but he makes sure that it's a fun experience for everyone.
His unique methods help students to overcome the apparent
confusion and fear normally associated with shine steps.
Ronnie's teaching not only concentrates on the lead, but
also the follower's part (styling, steps and all).
Ronnie style is very exciting and unique. It's a mix of New York, Puerto Rican, and Cuban Salsa with a hint of jazz and a definite Latino flavour! His projection and interpretation of style is very much his own. Ronnie is very entertaining, energetic and fun to watch. You can tell that he loves to teach Salsa. If you're looking for flare, street attitude and enthusiasm in your dancing classes then Ronnie is your man he has the SABOR (flavour)!

Ronnie is teaching his unique style of Salsa-Mambo at different
places throughout London. He teaches all levels. Classes
are 1 hour long and begin with about 20 minutes of open
shines. At present he is teaching Salsa at Millfield Arts
Centre, Enfield and in St. Michael's Church in Highgate
North London.
Ronnie is also available for private lessons and workshops
worldwide.
