SHARON Edith Bermeo Cisneros, born in Guayaquil Ecuador on 28th of March 1977, has been singing since the age of 8. In search of international recognition I travelled to Italy where I was voted by Mambo Radio (Rome) as the third most loved singer. The first place went to an Italian and the 2nd to Shakira. In 200 I was invited to Telethon Costa Rica where I gave a massive concert that was a great success. I have also been voted the best loved singer in Latin America.

I have signed a contract with Aztec Records and Aztec Music Mexico, sister companies of the Mexican TV company Azteca. In Bolivia I received the prize " Best New Star of Year awarded by Radio Gigante de La Nueva Generaci—n. At the end of 2000 I launched my third CD entitled Acaríciame (Caress Me). On top of all this Sharon just has brought out her own label collection of sexy ladies' lingerie developed in collaboration with eminent fashion designers.

¿Que Pasa?: Sharon, how does it feel being so famous?
Sharon: I am very happy, and I feel eternally grateful to the public that has always supported me. Has it been easy to achieve fame? I began alone. In my musical career I have come across many obstacles but thanks to my persistent optimism I have been able to overcome them. Also, some
people have guided me along the way and helped me to develop my career.

¿Que Pasa?: Do you have a fiance?
Sharon: No, not at the moment. It is difficult to have a boyfriend in this business - look at me! But I think that will come sometime in the future when I am more established. I will have to find some who understands that this is my life and that my career comes first.

¿Que Pasa?: What is the romantic Sharon like?
Sharon: Sometimes romantic, tender, explosive, savage.....

¿Que Pasa?: How do you describe yourself?
Sharon: I am a hard working and persistent woman.

¿Que Pasa?: Where did you get the name "La Hechicera":?
Sharon: Because of the magical touch that I put on everything!

¿Que Pasa?: What do you do to to keep your fantastic figure?
Sharon: I do a lot of exercise and follow a healthy diet.

¿Que Pasa?: What part of your body do you like most?
Sharon: My hair, it is beautiful and sensual - and my breasts, of course!

¿Que Pasa?: What is your most precious possession?
Sharon: My Samantha daughter.

¿Que Pasa?: What is your greatest fault?
Sharon: Saying yes to everybody, yes!, yes!, yes! ... And at this point we had to end the interview with this Goddess of desire, Sharon!.
