¿Que Pasa?: First of all what made you decide to made this compilation?

What led us to develop this project, was the need for the many high quality Latin American and Italian artists living in our country, to have a space and a serious and effective opportunity to create and publish their own works.

¿Que Pasa?: How did you begin this Latino project?

The project started in 2005 with the release of the first Salsa.it Compilation Volume 1.

Although it was our first experience with our label, we knew how well the public related to Latin American music and dance, and we knew the artists. We combined creativity, strategy, and just plain organization and it was a success.

¿Que Pasa?: What is your aim with this project?

The objective is to develop artistic and musical opportunities. We have excellent artists, dancers, composers, and a great many fans of Latin American music, emerging in Italy. The goal is to put them all together, and unite them, with seriousness, commitment and enthusiasm, in one or more projects.

¿Que Pasa?: This is the Vol. 5 of this Latino compilation CD. What should we expect from this release?

This compilation will be the beginning of a stronger commitment to international visibility. We want to become players in international comparison and really make our mark

¿Que Pasa?: How is it different from the first one?

You never forget your first love!Salsa.it Compilation Vol 1 "The Red" was the experiment ....

It served as a test to see if our intuition was right- which it was ! So then we tried to select the best artists and guide them, heading to new trends and trials with their styles and their creativity.

¿Que Pasa?: How did you choose the 19 groups featured on the CD?

This was done by our partner Francisco Rojos, one of the most successful DJs in Italy.
He has built up relations and contacts that allow him to meet many potential partners and

collaborators. He cleared the compatibility and made the contractual choice of songs.
This provided a constructive and collaborative interaction with the artists and achieved a work in perfect consistency with everyone who took part.

¿Que Pasa?: Tell us a bit about the artists and the countries they are from.

The artists are the most important thing for us- not only for their artistic and musical ability, but also because they represent the main theme of our project.
It’s a project based on a combination of multi cultural and multi ethnic art, a bearer of atmospheres and often magical sound;and it’s a combination that sends out a strong desire for music and dance.

It is difficult to speak of them individually because there are so many, and because they are all deserving of praise. The ones who are our loyal participants since the first compilation, are Fito Gress (Cuba), Mezcla Latina (Argentina and Italy), Massimo SCALICI (Italy), Eurocuban Project (Cuba - Italy) , Oliver (Venezuela), Mojito Project (Italy - Cuba) Jt Latinfactory with new type and new sound of bachata(Italia cuba) and many more ... ...

¿Que Pasa?: What do you think of the Latin music scene in Europe?

There is a great hunger for salsa and bachata. Salsa people are always interested in learning more about dance and music, and we believe that our project can help this movement grow.

¿Que Pasa?: What is your favorite type of music if you had to choose one?

Stintino

I do not want to choose- as for us, all Latin music is beautiful .. especially songs which bring out emotion when you hear them.

¿Que Pasa?: Where can we buy the CD?

Compilation Salsa.it and all our other products can be bought at all the outlets mentioned on our website www.alosibla.it

¿Que Pasa?: Are you planning anymore releases in the future?

We are already working on the project Salsa.it vol. 6 which should be out, as usual, around the middle of November. We are now finalizing the new production of OLIVER –a Venezuelan singer who is expected to be forthcoming shortly. We will also be bringing out the first disc of an international artist: FERNANDO SOSA . A great dancer, and popular lead-singer of Tropical Gem, Fernando has written and performed songs in collaboration with the master composer Massimo SCALICI.

I thank you on behalf of my members ILARIO CALI AND FRANCISCO Rojos for giving us this interview. And please remember that for anything more you can refer to the Precious FABRIZIO ZORO. Thanks also to DJ PILLAR for his contribution to the success of this discographic project
