GENERAL
RULES
1.
Participants must be at least 18 years old
2.
Costumes are permitted and encouraged props will
be permitted when dancing with your own music
but not in the qualification rounds, due to further
consideration and to add artistic interest to
the dance,
3.
Lifts and drops are allowed, but not in the qualification
round
4.
Winners and runners up from the TOP Salsa World
Salsa Championships around the world will go directly
to the semi-final round.
5
. In the semi-final round, the couples will dance
twice with music provided by the UK-WCOSCH.
The
first time, all couples will be on the dance-floor
together for 1 minute 30 seconds.
The
second time, the couples will be on the floor
in groups of three at a time for 2 minutes.

. In the final round, the couples will dance three
times with music provided by the
UK-WCOSCH for the 1st and 3rd time.
The first time, all couples will be on the dance-floor
together for 1 minute 30 seconds.
The
second time, the couples will perform individually
for 2 minutes using their own music to be provided
to the UK-WCOSCH in CD format only,
(Competitors
need to provide two ready-to-be-played CDs. One
track per CD.
The
third time all couples will again be on the floor
for a final comparison for a 1 minute 30 seconds
7.
Winners of the World Open Salsa Championships
(L.A., N.Y., Mambo, Colombian, and Cuban
Championships) MUST compete in the Undisputed
UK- World Cup Salsa Championships.
Competitors
must have placed first or second in one
of the UK - World Cup Open Salsa Championships
to qualify. (L.A., N.Y., Mambo, Colombian,
and Cuban Championships)

UK-WCOSCH reserve the right to cancel any Styles
from the competitions if less than 5 couples have
entered each of these events.

Semifinal Cuban, N.Y/Puerto Rican, L.A, & Colombian

CANCELLATION
POLICY
1. All tickets are Non-Refundable and cannot be
exchanged.
CAMERAS
Absolutely NO cameras (video or still) will be allowed
into the venue during workshops and competitions.
This includes digital still cameras that record
motion video. Anyone seen using a camera during
a workshop or competition will be asked to take
it outside the venue.
The
UK-WCOSCH reserve the right to cancel any Styles
from the competitions, if less than 5 couples have
entered each of these events.
